The Cost Of War
When the Rapture comes, how will you let your loved ones know where you are? Well now there's the "Rapture Letters". Who, will send e-mail to your sinner friends and family informing them as to why you disappeared and will leave you instructions as to how to join them. The thing I want to know is what kind of devices do they have that detect when the rapture happens, and how do they test them?

This is intresting. It looks like someone has put together a Peer-to-Peer Legal Defense Fund. I'm not sure how effective it'll be compaired to the deep pockets of the RIAA.

I Did It!!
It took 2 1/2 months, but I finally did it! I ripped all of my CDs onto MP3s. Now I plan on taking all my CDs and putting them in storage. I'll probably take them out of their hefty cases and store the CDs in booklets and put the booklet in the garage for future ripping. The only thing that bugs me is that MP3 technology is a fundamentally flawed technology. A better ripping method will come along soon, and then I'll have to do this all over again. But until they stop trying to integrate copy write programs into the ripping method that'll never happen. Either way this is a way of backing up my music. I have had CDs stolen and destroyed before. This means I don't have to worry about bringing a CD out to the car any more. I hope one day MP4 technology comes along far enough that I can back up all my DVDs as well!!

As you may have noticed, I haven't updated this blog in a while. Speakeasy, my hosting site changed some settings with their FTP stuff, and didn't tell me about it.
